The Society
undertakes the following activities:

To undertake and assist in
the organization of training programmes and study courses, conferences,
seminars and lecturers on Information Technology and contemporary
issues.

books, papers, periodicals, journals, newsletters and findings of
research studies, training outcomes and other informative material
compiled, translated or otherwise, through print or electronic media.

Conducting of educational and
training programmes based on experiential learning and the laboratory
technology.

Conducting low-cost
professional IT courses to provide opportunity to a large number
of people to gain IT skills.

Sharing learning and recent
developments in Information Technology through meetings,
discussions, seminars.

generate more knowledge.

professional IT development programmes for those interested in
developing their IT skills.

Society
is also ready to play a very significant role in national development;
creating an enlightened and disciplined IT work force and bringing out
desirable workable and behavioral changes in our workforce in the
organized, unorganized and rural sectors.
