Society for Information Technology Initiatives (IT Initiatives) is a non profit, voluntary, professional organization founded by a group of preferably IT Professionals engaged in applying their knowledge and skills for the well-being of society. Its members work as Programmes, Managers, Lecturers, independent consultants, trainers, counselors, academicians, training managers, in industrial and non-industrial organizations as community change agents. IT Initiatives has been registered in July 2009 as a professional body under the Societies' Registration Act. . It is an institution that deeply believes in the following Slok:
